Signal Processing Society Members Receive 2016 IEEE Awards
The IEEE Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal, awarded for outstanding achievements in signal processing, was presented to Louis L. Scharf "for pioneering and sustained contributions to statistical signal processing and its practice."
The IEEE James H. Mulligan, Jr. Education Medal, awarded for a career of outstanding contributions to education in the fields of interest of IEEE, was presented to Simon S. Haykin "for contributions to engineering education in adaptive signal processing and communication.”
The IEEE Dennis J. Picard Medal for Radar Technologies and Applications, awarded for outstanding accomplishments in advancing the fields of radar technologies and their applications, was presented to Nadav Levanon "for contributions to radar signal design and analysis, pulse compression, and signal processing.”
