Please be advised that IEEE gauges the vitality of a chapter by tracking how many meetings are reported during the year through vTools.  If a chapter reports "0" meetings for three consecutive years, the chapter is placed on a dissolution list that is reviewed at the November Board Meeting.  After this list is approved, a chapter has only 60 days to reach out to MGA to be removed from this list.  After 60 days a new petition will be needed to revitalize the chapter.

 

Please send an email to <tad-chap-dev@ieee.org> if there are concerns about your chapter's status.  If you have not done so already,  please contact Sean Kim, Member and Geographic Activities, <s.kim@ieee.org> as soon as possible if efforts are being made to revitalize your chapter that has been identified as inactive.
