TryEngineering.org, IEEE’s online engineering education resource for pre-university educators, parents, and students, is now available in a new mobile-friendly format. Visitors can now access the TryEngineering content they love, anywhere, any time, on virtually any device including desktops, tablets, and smart phones.

IEEE members and volunteers attending conferences can enhance their travel by taking advantage of the many IEEE Travel Discounts. News from the IEEE Conference Organizers Newsletter: In January 2015, the IEEE Meetings, Conferences and Events (MCE) Conference Education Program is offering the following webinar providing conference organizers deeper understanding of the conference audit function. Learn the key elements in preparing for and conducting your post conference financial audit. Gain further insight on what IEEE requires, what best practices are being used, and techniques to save time. Conference finance chairs/treasurers are especially encouraged to participate.

IEEE Day 2014 was held on Tuesday, 7 October, the fifth time in history when engineers worldwide celebrated the anniversary of the first time IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. While the world benefits from what's new, IEEE is focused on what’s next. Thus, this year's theme was "Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow."

IEEE Signal Processing Society Past President K. J. Ray Liu in his capacity as Chair of the Society’s Nominations and Appointments Committee invites nominations for the IEEE Signal Processing Society Officer positions of President-Elect for the term 1 January 2016-31 December 2017 and Vice President-Technical Directions for the term 1 January 2016-31 December 2018.
