Types of Color Files
| RGB | Ideally used for online applications, Web, TV, mobile devices, games, and illuminated signs. |
| CMYK | Commonly used for offset and digital printing. Ideal for full-color brochures, flyers, posters, postcards and business cards. Offset printing is inked image transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. |
| PMS | Commonly used for offset printing. Ideal for stationery and premium brochures. Offset printing is inked image transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. |
| KO | Knockout (KO) image type has transparent text that can be filled with any background, or text can be emphasized on dark background. Used sparingly. Note: In the 'Knockout' section below, due to the type of file, there is no image displayed. |
