Dr. Mariane R. Petraglia graduated (Magna Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Electronics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 1985. She obtained the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1988 and 1991, respectively.
To address rapidly growing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for signal processing and data science, the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is launching a new special series on AI in Signal & Data Science, to be published within the IEEE Journal on Selected Topic in Signal Processing (JSTSP).

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has 12 Technical Committees that support a broad selection of signal processing-related activities defined by the scope of the Society.
Joint postdoc position between Princeton University and the Weizmann Institute at the intersection of signal processing, communications, and biomedical applications. The work will be performed with the groups of Profs. Andrea Goldsmith and Yonina Eldar. Background in one or more of the above areas required with the desire to expand into the other areas.
