Speech and Language Technical Committee Fall 2021 Newsletter
Speech and Language Processing
The IEEE Signal Processing Society has developed guidelines related to SPS Chapter social media and Chapter Activities.
Many problems encountered in sensing and imaging can be formulated as estimating a low-rank object from incomplete, and possibly corrupted, linear measurements; prominent examples include matrix completion and tensor completion.
Did you know the Society offers funding under the Member Driven Initiatives program for events that encourage involvement by SPS membership, including local chapters, universities, industry members as well as individual members? Programs under the Member Driven Initiatives include Seasonal Schools, Forums, Regional Meetings, and Chapter Initiatives.
Nominations will be open 1 December–15 June for IEEE Medals and Recognitions—IEEE’s highest awards. All are encouraged to submit a nomination for a worthy candidate within their technical fields.
