Open AI Bot Defeated Human Teams in 5v5 Dota 2 Games

OpenAI recently announced their latest bot, OpenAI Five, which was able to beat amateur human teams in 5v5 Dota 2 games. This happended in less than a year since last August, when OpenAI bot defeated the world’s best Dota 2 player in a 1v1 game.

PH.D. Position on Audio Signal Processing in Ad-Hoc Wireless Transducer Array Networks

A Ph.D. research position is available in the KU Leuven, Electrical Engineering Department (ESAT), STADIUS Center for Dynamical Systems, Signal Processing and Data Analytics, in the frame of a research project on audio signal processing in ad-hoc wireless transducer array networks. The research activities will be focused on the design and evaluation of distributed digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for acoustic echo and feedback cancellation, active noise control, and sound field control in ad-hoc wireless transducer array networks.

PH.D. Research Position in a Frame of a Research Project on Multi-Service Wireless Networks

A Ph.D. research position is available in the KU Leuven Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT), STADIUS Center for Dynamical Systems, Signal Processing and Data Analytics, in the frame of a research project on multi-service wireless networks, combining information transfer with power transfer and computation offloading (edge/cloud computing) services.
