Denver Signal Processing Chapter announced the winner of 2010 Senior Project Funding Competition

Starting from 2008, the Denver Signal Processing Society Chapter created a competitive funding opportunity for undergraduate electrical engineering majors working on their senior projects. Seven universities in the Denver Section were invited to participate in the competition. They are Colorado School of Mines, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, University of Colorado (Boulder), University of Colorado (Denver), University of Denver, and University of Wyoming.

NSF East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes for U.S. Graduate Students – 2011 Application Now Open

The National Science Foundation (NSF) East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes for U.S. Graduate Students (EAPSI) is a flagship international fellowship program for developing the next generation of globally engaged U.S. scientists and engineers knowledgeable about the Asian and Pacific regions. The Summer Institutes are hosted by foreign counterparts committed to increasing opportunities for young U.S. researchers to work in research facilities and with host mentors abroad.

New IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Program Page Published

In order to provide a more accessible resource for Section/Chapter Distinguished Lecturer program information, a new IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Program web page has been created to assist Sections/Chapters looking for a Distinguished Lecturer.  The web page includes a list of direct links to Technical Society/Technical Council program pages, replacing the former password-protected database that required a login.

Postdoc position in large image dataset object recognition at University of Edinburgh
