The SPS Awards Board is now accepting nominations for 2010 major SPS awards.

The election of Members-at-Large (term 1 January 2011 through 31 December 2013) and the new Directors-at-Large (term 1 January 2011 through 31 December 2012) of the IEEE SPS Board of Governors is now open. This year's election offers SPS members the opportunity to cast their votes online. Ballots must be received at IEEE no later than 1 September 2010 in order to be counted.

The Steering Committee for the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is inviting proposals for ISBI 2013, 2014 and 2015. The IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances in theoretical and applied biomedical imaging. Proposals for 2013 should be sent no later than 1 December 2010. Send the proposal to Lisa Schwarzbek, Conference Services Manager, IEEE Signal Processing Society (l.schwarzbek AT ieee.org).

The Technical Committee on Information Forensics and Security (IFS-TC) of the IEEE Signal Processing Society is inviting proposals for the third offering of its flagship workshop (WIFS 2011). Full proposals must be sent by email no later than September 20th, 2010.

The Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery is hosting a 49-week scientific program in 2012. The deadline for 5-day Workshop and Summer School proposals is September 27, 2010.

The Nominations and Appointments Subcommittee for each Technical Committee will be seeking nominations for new Members, as well as the Vice Chair position for some Technical Committees. Nominations for both positions should be submitted directly to each Technical Committee’s Nominations and Appointments Subcommittee.
