The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the positions of Director-Industrial Relations and Director-Student Services. The term for each Director position will be three years (1 January 2012-31 December 2014).
The Director-Industrial Relations is responsible for identifying value, benefit, and services to attract and retain industrial members. The Director is a voting member of the Membership Board and a non-voting, ex-officio member of both the Conference and Publications Boards.

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the position of Chapters Coordinator for a three year term (1 January 2012-31 December 2014).
The Chapters Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Society's Distinguished Lecturer Program, as well as Chapter activities. The Chapters Coordinator is a voting member of the Membership Board and chairs the Chapters Committee.

The IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter of the Year Award will be presented for the first time in 2012. The award will be presented annually to a Chapter that has provided their membership with the highest quality of programs, activities and services. The award will be presented annually in conjunction with the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP) to the Chapter's representative. The award will consist of a certificate and a check in the amount of $1,000 to support local chapter activities.
