Publicize Your Society/Council Activities on the New Official IEEE Facebook Page
IEEE recently expanded its social media presence with the creation of the official IEEE Facebook page. NOTE: You need to have a Facebook account to "like" this page, view its newsfeed and create posts. The IEEE Facebook page joins many existing IEEE Facebook pages and groups and is designed to serve as the hub of all social media activities on Facebook. The IEEE Facebook page now totals more than 4,600 users, a number that is growing daily. IEEE Societies/Councils and Technical Activities volunteers who would like to publicize their activities on the Facebook page can do so themselves if they have a Facebook account, or, if they do not, by emailing Julie Compton, IEEE Staff. Please include "Facebook" in the subject line of your email. Please note that submissions cannot be longer than three to four sentences in order to be posted on the Facebook page. URLs to external Web sites/pages can be included.
