Signal Processing Magazine Ranks #1 AGAIN among All IEEE Publications

On 28 June 2011, Thomson Reuters released its 2010 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), which is generally accepted as the world’s most influential source of information about highly-cited, peer reviewed publications and the source of the new Journal Impact Factors. The IEEE Signal Processing Magazine has ranked first AGAIN among all IEEE publications (127 in total) and among all publications within the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Category (247 in total), in terms of its impact factor. The magazine's 2010 impact factor is the highest among all these publications and stands now at 5.86.

A more detailed analysis of the Thompson Reuters' JCR report on the IEEE SPS  jornal publications will be in a later eNews issue written by Ali Sayed, SPS Vice President-Publications.
