Recently, IEEE memberNet, the online member directory, was improved by defaulting additional fields as part of a member’s profile.

The article, written by Debra Feldman, gives brief primer on how to job search more successfully in today’s very competitive environment.

The Fast S-Transform (FST) is a new algorithm for solving the S-Transform with significantly reduced time and complexity. Software packages implementing the FST are now available for download at Sourceforge. The FST is currently available for both C and Python.

The IEEE Foundation awards grants to IEEE units and other charitable organizations for innovative projects that further the scientific and educational purposes of IEEE. To be considered for grant funding, your project should have a clearly defined objective and provide support in the focus areas of education, history of technology or applying technology for humanitarian causes. The IEEE Foundation reviews grant applications in two cycles each year. Your Unit, Section or Chapter are welcome to apply for a grant through the IEEE Foundation Web page.

The IEEE Technology Navigator — an online tool that enables users to visually comprehend the connectivity between technical areas covered by IEEE Societies and Technical Councils through a horizontal interface — has received new features.
