The Sensor Array and Multichannel (SAM) Signal Processing Technical Committee is charged with the mission of promoting activities within its area of technical interest, and is required to provide expertise and assistance as follows:

(a) assist with the review of papers within scope in cooperation with journal and magazine editors;

(b) assist in the review of papers submitted to Society conferences;

One of the major duties of our TC is to send endorsed nominations to the SPS Awards Board for annual Paper and Major Awards.  The Awards Subcommittee does not originate these nominations, but rather calls for nominations from the TC membership (and other sources), sends slates of candidates to the TC membership for voting, collects votes, determines the winners, and forwards the endorsed nominations (at most one in each categor
