Description of the unit: The Department of Signal Processing in TUT is one of the world's prominent research organizations in the field, unifying signal processing algorithms with bioinformatics, telecommunications and networked multimedia. PROLIGHT (Modern Signal Processing Methods for Ultra-Realistic Light-Field Displays) is a four-year project between TUT and Holografika, Hungary. The project is funded by Marie Curie Industry-Academia Partnership Pathways (IAPP).

Postdoctoral Cardiovascular Imaging Researchers
Two postdoctoral imaging researchers to develop new translational applications in cardiovascular imaging are needed. Successful applicants will join our team of biomedical engineers, computer scientists, cardiologists, and industrial researchers. The first project will advance CT imaging to include reliable perfusion measurements of myocardial tissue using the latest Philips Healthcare CT imaging technology. This advancement will allow CT to become the only imaging modality providing a “one stop shop” including cardiac function, vascular anatomy, and tissue perfusion.
