IEEE ISAC 2026: Welcome to the First IEEE Conference on ISAC!

Cityscape of Lisbon, Portugal

The IEEE Conference on Integrated Sensing and Communications 2026 (ISAC) is the first large-scale conference dedicated to integrated sensing and communications and its applications. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, the IEEE Signal Processing Society and the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society.

The organizing committee invites the international community to contribute with state-of-the-art developments in this rapidly evolving field. IEEE ISAC 2026 will feature plenary talks by leading researchers, as well as special and regular technical sessions with presentations by the participants.

The first edition of this conference will be hosted in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 15-18, 2026. The conference will cover all technical areas addressed by the three sponsoring societies, making it a truly interdisciplinary event not to be missed.

In addition to regular technical paper sessions, the program will include special sessions organized by key experts in the field, as well as tutorials. Highlights of the program include keynote talks by:

  • Athina Petropulu, Rutgers University, USA
  • Daniel W. Bliss, Arizona State University, USA
  • Giuseppe Caire, Technical University of Berlin, Germany
  • Shi Jin, Southeast University, China

Two panel sessions will further foster discussions and interactions between academia and industry:

  • “ISAC - The Standardization Road Ahead”, moderated by Alain Mourad, InterDigital, UK & ETSI ISG ISAC Chair
  • “Future Perspectives on Integrated Sensing and Communications”, moderated by Christos Masouros, University College London, UK
