Web-Based Query Tool Available For Gathering Membership Data

SAMIEEE is a web-based ad-hoc query tool that provides volunteers with the ability to gather useful information regarding their Chapter's membership data.

It is available at this link.

Predefined (prewritten) queries are provided and stored in folders in the system, making it easy to run and download data without having to recreate queries that are known "common" selections for Society officers (for example, counts of members, by grade, by region; list of current members, total, or by section or region, and so on.). Users can also create customized queries. The results can be downloaded into Excel, HTML, or a CSV file. The data made available to volunteers is based on respective Organizational Unit and volunteer position. Example: Presidents will automatically have access to their individual Society's members, and chapter chairs can access their individual chapter's members.

There are new self-paced training modules to help you learn SAMIEEE at your own pace. There are four modules which take only about 30 minutes to go through. Please review the site for more information regarding which officer positions have automatic access.

The data is updated three times a week and is pulled directly from IEEE's membership database, reflecting the most current information made available by members. You will need your IEEE web account to access. If you would like more information or need assistance running queries please contact <samieee AT ieee.org>.
