The IEEE 28th International Workshop on Multimedia Signal Processing (MMSP) is the 28th in the series, organized by the IEEE Signal Processing Society's Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, passionate about multimedia signal processing, to share their knowledge, exchange ideas, explore future research directions and network.

This year, MMSP will be held from September 22-24, 2026, in the vibrant city of Istanbul, Türkiye. As one of the most dynamic and historically rich cities in the world, Istanbul offers a unique blend of ancient and modern, where centuries-old architecture stands alongside a fast-paced, vibrant urban environment. The city is known for its stunning landmarks, bustling bazaars, diverse cuisine and warm hospitality.
