2026 Multimedia Prize Paper Award Nomination Period is Now Open!

Eligibility: Any paper published (final publication, not Early Access) in the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (T-MM) in 2023, 2024, or 2025. 

Nominations should include: 

• Nominator. 

• Bibliographic information for the paper. 

• A short statement of support (less than 500 words) explaining the rationale for the nomination. 

Judging shall be based on originality, subject matter, timeliness, potential impact, and presentation quality.

For the T-MM Prize Paper nomination, the following criteria applies to ensure the fairness and integrity of the nomination/selection process: 

• The nominator has not co-authored paper(s) with the nominated paper's authors in the past 10 years.

• The nominator is not a former supervisor or student of a nominated paper's author. 

• A nominator's paper has not been nominated for an award by an author of the nominated paper (i.e., no cross-nomination). 

• No self-nominations. 

Nominations for the 2026 Multimedia Prize Paper Award must be submitted through the online nomination system at https://ieee.secure-platform.com/a/solicitations/1374/home no later than 31 March 2026.

 T-MM Prize Paper Award will be presented at ICME 2026, Bangkok, Thailand, in the name of the four sponsoring societies: IEEESPS, IEEE-ComSoc, IEEE-CS, and IEEE-CASS.
