IEEE Women in Engineering News: Register Now for 2016 WIE International Leadership Conference

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is pleased to announce upcoming events and opportunities: International Leadership Conference - Registration Open Registration is now open for the 2016 IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Conference (2016 WIE-ILC), which will take place 23-24 May 2016, in the capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose, CA, USA. With a theme of "Lead Beyond. Accelerating Innovative Women Who Change the World," the conference focuses on leadership, innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. Connect with over 1,100 mid-to-senior-level technical professionals in attendance. Seating is limited. The conference sold out last year. The Cisco-sponsored opening reception will be Monday evening, 23 May, at the San Jose Convention Center. The Ericsson-sponsored closing reception will be Tuesday evening, 24 May, at Ericsson offices in Santa Clara. Register now Awards and Recognition Program The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) awards and recognition program is designed to recognize WIE members and affinity groups that have made an outstanding contribution to WIE, their community, and the engineering community through their dedication and involvement in projects or activities directed toward fulfilling the WIE goals and objectives. The nomination deadline is 1 April 2016.
