Share Your Society Enthusiasm: Become an SPS Ambassador!
We’re looking for enthusiastic IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) members at all levels to help champion our incredible community. Bring your passion, your energy, and your voice—apply to become an SPS Ambassador.
SPS Ambassadors will act as Society representatives, connecting with other members and networking with non-members, particularly students and young professionals, to encourage them to join the Society.
From engaging in activities to communicating about them via articles, blogs, podcasting, social media, webinars, and presentations, Ambassadors will be responsible for amplifying and promoting SPS initiatives. It is a great opportunity to become more engaged and expand your network.
A virtual training program will be provided for Ambassadors to equip them with information about SPS, as well as their possible roles and activities. Ambassadors can also serve as potential candidates for the committees and subcommittees within SPS.
Interested Student Members and Graduate Student Members should be nominated by an SPS Higher-Grade Member, while a Higher-Grade Member can self-nominate. For this cycle, we are accepting applications for Ambassadors in the United States and South America.
The timeline for the program is:
- Deadline for Nomination: 15 May 2026
- Announcement of Ambassadors: End of May 2026
- Start of the Ambassador Program: Immediately
The online nomination form can be found here. Please submit your nominations no later than 15 May 2026.
Any question regarding the SPS Ambassador Program should be directed to sp-ambassador@listserv.ieee.org.
