King Li is dean and chief academic officer for Carle Illinois College of Medicine, created in partnership by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Carle Health System. When he went to medical school 40 years ago, he sometimes felt like he was trying to memorize the human body.

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has 12 Technical Committees and 3 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that support a broad selection of signal processing-related activities defined by the scope of the Society. 

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is honored to announce the elevation of 267 of its members to the grade of IEEE Senior Member. These members have demonstrated outstanding professional performance, exhibited professional maturity through long-term experience, and established themselves as leaders in their respective IEEE-designated fields of interest.

The Nominations and Appointments Subcommittee for each Technical Committee and Special Interest Group is currently seeking nominations for new Members, as well as the Vice Chair position for some Technical Committees/Special Interest Groups. Nominations for both positions should be submitted directly to each Technical Committee/Special Interest Group’s Nominations and Appointments Subcommittee.
