Pretrained audio neural networks (PANNs) are trained on 5800 hours of AudioSet data that can be used to recognize hundreds of sound types in the natural world.

We are pleased to announce the George B. Moody PhysioNet Challenge 2024, an opportunity for researchers in signal and image processing, and the machine learning communities to advance cardiac care.

The IEEE Transactions on Multimedia is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Multimedia Prize Paper Award. Nominations are due no later than 15 April 2024.

IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form related to a particular TC field. To submit job announcements for a particular Technical Committee, the submission form can be found by visiting the page below and selecting a particular TC.

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has 12 Technical Committees that support a broad selection of signal processing-related activities defined by the scope of the Society.

Nominations will be open 1 December - 15 June for IEEE Medals and Recognitions - IEEE’s highest awards. All are encouraged to submit a nomination for a worthy candidate within their technical fields.

As a service to the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) community, the SPS Challenge Program offers support to challenge organizers by:
- providing an organizational framework for a five-stage process from the proposal to the dissemination of results.
- granting official SPS sponsorship to approved SPS challenges, including use of SPS communication channels.
- promoting dissemination of the results by publishing challenge overview papers in the journals of SPS.
