Call for Nominations for Chair, Women in Signal Processing (WISP)

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the position of Chair, Women in Signal Processing. The term for this position is three years (1 January 2026-31 December 2028).

The Chair, Women in Signal Processing heads the Women in Signal Processing Committee and is responsible to identify value/benefit/services to women members and recommend policy/mechanism for recruiting women members; develop programs and material to facilitate women member recruiting and services; maintain and develop contacts with leadership and membership constituents; and provide proper communication channels and feedback. The Women in Signal Processing Committee shall be responsible for identifying, vetting and submitting women candidates for award and board/committee nominations. The Women in Signal Processing Committee should work with the Technical Committees to create a liaison position within each of the Technical Committees to help support their efforts. The Chair, Women in Signal Processing Committee is a voting member of the Membership Board.
