The IEEE Signal Processing Society is seeking nominations for future leaders! Nominations for several SPS leadership roles are open now, and we are now soliciting for the following roles with terms beginning 1 January 2024.

The IEEE Signal Processing Society Kerala Chapter's most remarkable sponsorship track event, Hub Meets were conducted. As a part of the Hub Meets, the Young Professionals team of SPS KC had informative sessions at respective colleges. They provided a clear understanding of opportunities of being an SPS member.

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) announces the 2023 Class of Distinguished Lecturers and Distinguished Industry Speakers for the term of 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2024.  The IEEE SPS Distinguished Lecturer (DL) Program provides a means for Chapters to have access to well-known educators and authors in the fields of signal processing to lecture at Chapter meetings.

Greetings to everyone as we prepare to celebrate the 75th anniversary of SPS during 2023! Membership of SPS, or any group, is based on the relationships, built between members. The IEEE Signal Processing Society has observed that sustained relationships lead to sustained membership growth. In its efforts to build a large and strong base of membership, SPS has spent the past few years focusing its attention on Student Members. 

The IEEE annual election begins on 15 August and ends on 3 October.  All ballots must be received by 12:00 p.m. EDT/16:00 UTC.  The IEEE Signal Processing Society is committed to ensuring that its members are prepared with sufficient information about the candidates in order to make their best-informed decision.

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is excited to announce a new initiative to support SPS refers to the pre-college educational years collectively, and commonly includes elementary, middle, and high schools.

Christ Richmond (Duke University) has been named Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Signal Processing Letters for the term 1 January 2023 through 31 December 2025.

Recent years have seen a rapid increase in the number of machine learning and signal processing contests. Some of those currently open include: From Kaggle hosted contests, Google is inviting the Kaggle community to join efforts to accelerate research in large-scale video understanding, while giving participants access to the Google Cloud Machine Learning Engine.

IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form related to a particular TC field. To submit job announcements for a particular Technical Committee, the submission form can be found by visiting the page below and selecting a particular TC.
