IEEE offers guidance and best practices on the conference publishing process. Read about how to find the right IEEE conference for your work, what types of papers are accepted by IEEE conferences, how to present your paper, and how to get an ORCID to get credit for your work. Finally, learn about the benefits of publishing with IEEE. Visit the IEEE Author Center for information on publishing your paper at an IEEE conference.
SPS conferences and workshops can offer opportunities for accepted authors of SPS journals to present their results to conference attendees. Authors are encouraged to visit the conference or workshop website for specific information on how to submit your journal paper to a conference or workshop. Since the paper has been accepted and published by IEEE, no further review of the paper is required. However, it is at discretion of the conference organizers on whether to accept the paper for presentation at the conference.
Journal submissions must meet the following criteria:
Journal papers chosen for presentation will be included in the conference proceedings, by downloading the original paper from IEEE Xplore® to include in the conference proceedings for attendees. The below disclaimer must be included on the paper in order to avoid duplication of publication: "Original Paper published in <name of journal> . Reprint permitted by IEEE SP Society, for inclusion in the Proceedings and presentation at <name of conference>."
