Position Description: 

Telecom ParisTech is seeking applicants for a faculty position in the Digital Communications Group of the Communications and Electronics Department (for further information, www.comelec.telecom-paristech.fr/en/comnum-group-digital-communications....) Telecom ParisTech is one of France's best Grandes Ecoles and the leading institution in communication systems. Undergraduate students are admitted through a highly selective national entrance examination exam.

The position ("Maître de Conférences") is equivalent to a tenured assistant professorship. Particular interest is in candidates  with a multidisciplinary research orientation broadly related to the area of data transmission and processing. Applications from candidates specializing in areas related to coding or optimization are particularly encouraged. Priority will be given to the overall innovation, originality, and promise of the candidate's work.

An earned Ph.D., the ability to pursue a research program, and a strong teaching commitment to both graduate and undergraduate  levels are required.

They should include a cover letter, a detailed resume, three representative publications, a statement of research (max. 3 pages), a statement of teaching (max. 2 pages), and the names and email addresses of three references.
