IEEE Awards Program Announces Call for 2013 Nominations
For almost a century, IEEE has bestowed technical field awards on individuals in recognition of their contributions and leadership in specific fields of interest to the IEEE. Nominations for the 2013 IEEE Technical Field Awards can be initiated by any individual who can clearly describe the work of the nominee and its significance. An award candidate need not be an IEEE member, but the nomination must meet specific criteria and describe an important contribution to the field of interest covered by the award. Submissions will be accepted through 31 January 2012. To learn more about the IEEE Technical Field Awards, visit this link.
