The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering invites applications for a number of tenured and/or tenure track faculty positions at all ranks in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at SUSTech.
Candidates with strong track record and high potential with research interests in all mainstream fields of electronic and electrical engineering are invited to apply, including but not limited to Circuits and Systems, Communication and Networking, Signal and Media Information Processing, Control Science and Engineering, Robotics and Machine Vision, AI and Big Data, VR/AR/DR, Electronics and Microelectronics, Semiconductor Devices and IC Design, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, and Photonics. These positions are full time posts. SUSTech adopts the tenure track system, which offers the recruited faculty members a clearly defined career path.
Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in research and a strong commitment to teaching. A doctoral degree in related areas is required at the time of appointment. Candidates for senior positions must have an established record of world-class research, and a track-record in securing substantial external funding as PI. Located in a State-level innovative city that is home to some of China’s most successful high-tech companies, such as Huawei and Tencent, SUSTech emphasizes entrepreneurship. Entrepreneur experience is considered a plus.
