Signal processing applications surround us and the technologies we interact with. And while signal processing is one of the most pervasive fields of engineering, it is also one of the least understood. In an effort to increase awareness about signal processing, SPS has been working on a series of videos to explain elemental signal processing technologies and applications. Check out our new video from the Machine Learning and Signal Processing Technical Committee, where experts explain how we extract and analyze data from signals to improve sound engineering, medical breakthroughs, and speech recognition.
