IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form related to a particular TC field. IEEE SPS and TELUS Take Off with New Video on Air Canada Flights

The Signal Processing Society, in partnership with TELUS, recently sponsored an inspiring video about a small startup team of Canadian signal processing and computer engineers who, in 1978, competed with NASA in a race to use radar to image never-before-seen parts of the earth. The video is currently airing on Air Canada flights as part of their in-flight entertainment package, and is part of an ongoing effort to increase public visibility of signal processing and the Society.

Election of Regional Directors-at-Large and Members-at-Large

On 15 August 2017, the election of Regional Directors-at-Large for Regions 7 & 9 and Region 10 (term 1 January 2018 through 31 December 2019) and Members-at-Large (term 1 January 2018 through 31 December 2020) of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Board of Governors will open. Ballots will be mailed to SPS members.
