Dr. Yan Ye is currently the Head of Video Technology Lab of Alibaba’s Damo Academy in Sunnyvale California. Prior to Alibaba, she held various technical and management and positions at InterDigital, Dolby Laboratories, and Qualcomm.

Dr. Letícia Rittner is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. She is the co-founder and currently Director of the Medical Image Computing Laboratory, and also part of the Brazilian Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (BRAINN). 

Mário Figueiredo received his MSc (1990), PhD (1994), and habilitation (agregação) degrees, all in Electrical and  Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), the school of engineering of the University of Lisbon, where he has been a professor since 1994.

Fernando Pereira is a Full Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computers Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, and a Senior Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações, Lisbon, Portugal. 

Néstor Becerra Yoma was born in Santiago, Chile. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. He is a full professor at the University of Chile. He started the Speech Processing and Transmission Laboratory, where he has investigated artificial intelligence and signal processing applied to multidisciplinary topics.

Dr. Lina J. Karam is an Emerita Professor in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University and Director of the R&D Image, Video & Usability (IVU) Lab. She is currently Chief Technical Advisor at AIAEC and expert consultant for various industries and firms in the areas of signal processing, computer vision, AI/machine learning, image and video processing and compression.

Laure Blanc-Féraud received her Ph.D. degree and habilitation to conduct research in inverse problems in image processing from University Côte d’Azur in 1989 and 2000, respectively. She is a researcher with Informatique Signaux et Systèmes at Sophia Antipolis (I3S) Lab, the University Côte d’Azur, Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Sophia Antipolis, France.

Josiane Zerubia (M.Sc. ’81, D.Eng. ’86, Ph.D. '88, 'Habilitation' '94) is a French Senior Research Scientist at the National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA). She has also been Professor at ISAE-Supaero, Toulouse, France, for over 20 years. 

Donald S. Williamson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University, where he is also an affiliate member of the Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI) and the Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences.

Dr. Monika Aggarwal is an Electrical Engineering graduate, with a doctorate in signal processing. Dr. Aggarwal is currently working as a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India, one of the premier engineering institutes of India.
