Nominations are due 1 July 2013 for the 2014 IEEE Medals and Recognitions.
IEEE Medals are the highest recognition within the IEEE awards hierarchy, with the prestigious IEEE Medal of Honor as the premier award. IEEE Medals embrace broad and significant contributions within the technical fields of interest of IEEE.
Did you know that IEEE-USA has authorized the presentation of Awards and Recognition for the purpose of recognizing excellence, outstanding service and contributions in furtherance of its objectives?
Many techniques developed in speech research have been successfully employed in other fields, such as automatic video semantic indexing.

All Section Officers and Chapter/Affinity Group Chairs have been contacted with a reminder that the following annual reports are required to be eligible for a rebate:
How to recognize those who deserve the honor? How to address all the aspects of fairness and conflict of interest? The IEEE SPS Executive Committee (ExCom) decided to tackle this award-and-recognition issue on two fronts: the nomination process and the selection process. Now IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form at the related TC section pages.
