Lead Research Engineer Position in DSP, Siemens, Bangalore

Job Description: Candidate will work hands-on on developing and implementing innovative signal-processing solutions for Siemens businesses. Candidate will work on a broad variety of technologies and products relevant for Siemens businesses.

Requirements: MS Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 5-10 years relevant industry experience or PhD in relevant field.

  • Expert in C/C++ programming
  • Expert knowledge of digital signal processor (DSP) architectures
  • Must be capable of analyzing application requirements and identifying the optimal processing DSP/microcontroller platforms for implementation
  • Expert knowledge optimization techniques
  • Sound knowledge of MATLAB and modeling techniques
  • Sound knowledge of assembly programming
  • Familiarity with DSP processor peripherals and device drivers
  • Good knowledge of memory maps, cache, and OS fundamentals
  • Problem solving and debugging
  • Analytical reasoning ability
  • Strong communication skills - spoken, written
  • Strong presentation skills
