Senior Scientist Position in RF and DSP, Honeywell

This is an exciting time for a professional R & D scientist with solid background in RF and Digital Signal Processing and advanced Spread Spectrum Technology experience to join Honeywell's Aerospace Engineering & Technology group.

Honeywell Aerospace is a leading global provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, business and general aviation, military, space and airport operations.

This position is for a scientist III within the Advanced Technology Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance Systems Research and Technology Center and can be based in the following locations: Columbia, MD, Phoenix, AZ, Redmond WA, or Minneapolis, MN.

Desirable Technology / Product Domain Knowledge:

  • RF and Digital Signal Processing.
  • Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology.
  • MIMO technology.
  • Link Budgets and Interference Analysis.
  • 802.16, 802.20, 802.15.4, 3G/4G telephone standards.
  • SATCOM technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Due to Export Requirements, must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, desired Terminal Degree (Doctorate) in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.
  • US SECRET Clearance preferred.
