Call for Nominations: IEEE Signal Processing Letters Editor-in-Chief

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the position of Editor-in-Chief for the following journal: IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) for a 3-year term starting 1 January 2017. Nominations should be submitted to Thrasos Pappas, SPS Vice President-Publications, via pappas@eecs.northwestern.edu by 16 March 2016. Nominations must include:
  • name of candidate and nominator
  • a brief IEEE-style biography (up to 200 words), including a listing of the candidates editorial experience;
  • a web address that contains the candidate’s CV (do not send a curriculum vitae with the nomination);
  • a brief narrative supporting statement from the nominator(s);
  • optionally, a statement of interest of up to 500 words stating the nominee’s vision for the journal.
