New SPS Chairs for 2017

The Executive Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) appointed two new Chairs who will start their terms on 1 January 2017:

H. Vincent Poor H. Vincent Poor (Princeton University) will serve as 2017-2019 SPS Awards Board Chair. He succeeds Jose' M.F. Moura (Carnegie Mellon University) who has held the post 2014.

 

 

 

Isabel TrancosoIsabel Trancoso (Instituto Superior Técnico) will serve as 2017-2019 SPS Fellow Reference Committee Chair. She succeeds Sadaoki Furui (Tokyo Institute of Technology), who has held the post since 2014.
