Stay tuned for announcements on “Digital Signaling: Interacting Social Sensors and Social Networks” presented by Prof. Vikram Krishnamurthy. In this webinar, Prof. Krishnamurthy will discuss how humans interact over a social network and make decisions based on sensor information.

In this course, you will learn the science behind how digital images and video are made, altered, stored, and used. The course is offered via an open platform: https://www.coursera.org/learn/image-processing

Satellite-based navigation and location technology has become a valuable tool for many positioning, navigation, and timing services. These include both civilian and military applications. Several Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are currently fully or partially functional, with the US Global Positioning System (GPS) topping the list and having a constellation of at least 24 satellites operating simultaneously. GLONASS, the Russian system, currently has a global coverage, too.

Recent years have seen a rapid increase in the number of machine learning and signal processing contests. Some of those currently running include:

This is a massive open online course offered by the University of California, San Diego. The course is thought by Ilkay Altintas and Amarnath Gupta, and it is developed for those new to data science.
