News and Resources for Members of the IEEE Signal Processing Society
The following volunteers have been named Editors-in-Chief of IEEE Signal Processing Society publications. The term for these Editors-in-Chief will run from 1 January 2022 through 31 December 2024.
Xiao-Ping Zhang has been named Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is with Ryerson University, Canada. He is succeeding Lina J. Karam, Lebanese American University, who has held the post as Editor-in-Chief since 2019.
Paris Smaragdis has taken on the role of Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is with the at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, IL. He is succeeding Dilek Hakkani-Tur, Amazon Alexa AI, who has held the post as Editor-in-Chief since 2019.
Mujdat Cetin is the new Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is with the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. He is succeeding Brendt Wohlberg, Los Alamos National Laboratory, who has been Editor-in-Chief since 2018.
Mauro Conti has taken on the role of Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is with the University of Padua, Italy. He is succeeding Patrizio Campisi, University of Roma TRE, who has held the post as Editor-in-Chief since 2018.
Pascal Frossard is the new Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is with EPFL, Switzerland. He is succeeding Antonio Ortega, University of Southern California, who has held the post as Editor-in-Chief since 2019.
