JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer - Digital

JOB DESCRIPTION: Digital engineers provide: design, development, modification and analysis of FPGA and programmable hardware. Digital Design requires programmable logic, VHDL language and digital communications systems knowledge. Modem Design (including SATCOM, wireless, cellular and software defined radios) requires knowledge of digital communications systems, waveform generation and signal processing, FPGA design (in VHDL) and familiarity with Digital Signal Processors chips. DSP design positions require knowledge of digital signal processing techniques, algorithm development, software coding and simulation/modeling using MATLAB. Microelectronics Design requires training in advanced electronics packaging and MEMS technology. Experience with high density interconnect and semiconductor packaging technology is desired.

JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer - Analog (RF/Analog/Power/Controls/ Photonics)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Analog engineers provide:RF and Analog Design, Antenna Design, and electromagnetic analysis. This requires a familiarity with principles of communication systems and strong course work in electromagnetic theory. Preferred Skills: familiarity or background with elemental antenna types, reflector antenna and feed design, and phased-array antenna analysis and design; Antenna Control System and Algorithm design; and RF/Microwave component design including: frequency converters, TR modules, synthesizers, amplifiers, beam formers for phased array antennas, and passive circuits such as filters, dividers and combiners.. Practical hands-on experience to put design to practice using CAD tools is helpful, including Agilent Analysis tools, PSPICE,Ansoft High Frequency Structure Solver (HFSS),and Concept HDL for Printed Wiring Board Design. Position may require modification of existing design, original design, analysis and build and test of Antenna, RF, and analog hardware in anechoic chambers or antenna far field ranges.
