The University of Edinburgh is looking to recruit into a 3 year academic position in Medical Image Analysis, with a combination of research and teaching responsibilities.
The purpose of this job is to develop the image analysis capability for research in Edinburgh; enhancing an existing portfolio of well-characterised image acquisition techniques; translating and simplifying these techniques for wider use by research staff, or to image analysis in other organ systems, as required. BRIC is part of the Centre for In Vivo Imaging
Sciences (CIVIS) in Edinburgh and the SINAPSE collaboration in Scotland, in which the postholder would be expected to play an active role. The post holder would be expected to lecture and supervise PhD, MSc and undergraduate students.
Applicants should have a PhD and relevant research experience in Medical Image Analysis, plus a growing research portfolio, publication record, and grants.
