Nominations for the 2022 Multimedia Prize Paper Award must be submitted
through the online nomination system no later than 10 April 2022!
Eligibility: Any paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (T-MM) in 2019, 2020, or 2021.
Nominations should include:
Judging shall be on the basis of originality, subject matter, timeliness, potential impact, and presentation quality.
For the TMM Prize Paper nomination, the following apply to ensure the fairness and integrity of the nomination/selection process:
Nominations should be sent to the online nomination system, no later than 10 April 2022.
T-MM Prize Paper Prize selection schedule and process:
March 31:
Nominations are solicited by the EIC of the T-MM from the Editorial Board, Guest Editors, and readership (through a published notice) of the journal. The EiC also appoints a committee of editorial board members during this time to screen the nominations once they are received.
April 30:
The nominations are screened by a committee of the Editorial Board of TMM, appointed and chaired by the EIC of the journal. A short list, with a brief assessment report, is generated by the EIC and delivered to the TMM Paper Award Committee for final selection.
May 22:
Selection is completed and recipients are notified by the EIC of TMM with a copy to the Executive Office.
T-MM Prize Paper Award will be presented at the ICME 2022 Award Ceremony, in the name of the four sponsoring societies: IEEE-SPS, IEEE-ComSoc, IEEE-CS, and IEEE-CASS.
