Call for Nominations: Fellow Evaluation Committee - Chair and Vice Chair Positions

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the positions of Fellow Evaluation Committee - Chair and Vice Chair. The term for Fellow Evaluation Committee Chair and Vice Chair positions are one year, renewable (1 January 2024-31 December 2024).

The Fellow Evaluation Committee Chair is responsible for chairing the Fellow Evaluation Committee, which is responsible for evaluating nominations for IEEE Fellow that are referred for review by the IEEE Fellow Committee. The Fellow Evaluation Committee Chair is also a member of the SPS Awards Board.

The Fellow Evaluation Committee Vice Chair position assists the Chair in performing their duties and will act on behalf of the Chair in the event of their incapacity.

NOTE: The Fellow Evaluation Committee - Chair and Vice Chair must be an IEEE Fellow and must be an SPS Member in good standing.

All nominations should be submitted on the online nomination platform.

Nominations should be received no later than 13 July 2023. Please provide the following information with the nomination:

• Name and Information of Candidate
• IEEE Member Number
• Grade
• Individual’s biographical information (no more than 200 words, please)
• Information about the individual’s current activities in the Signal Processing Society, the IEEE, or other professional societies.
• Statement of support from nominator
• High-resolution image of individual
