"Signal Processing Night" Held at the Washington Chapter

The IEEE Signal Processing Washington Chapter organized a "Signal Processing Night" on 19 April 2010 on the College Park campus of the University of Maryland. This event provided local IEEE Signal Processing Society members with an opportunity to showcase their research and to learn about the latest advancement made by researchers in the Washington metro area.

Led by Chapter Chair Dr. Min Wu from the University of Maryland, a group of graduate student members of the IEEE Signal Processing Society played an active role in organizing this first-ever Signal Processing Night event in the Washington metro area.  The event consists of two poster sessions and covered a broad range of topics including cognitive radio, social networks, security and forensics, content identification, data flow modeling, multimedia communications, and more.  More details on the poster presentations are available at the event website.
