The IEEE Signal Processing Society invites all SPS Members to collaborate with their local Chapter in submitting a proposal for a Seasonal School, Forum, Regional Meeting, or Chapter Initiative event scheduled between April 2025 and September 2025.

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) conducts webinars presented by professionals in the field of signal processing and related technologies on an ongoing basis. Dr. Letícia Rittner is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. She is the co-founder and currently Director of the Medical Image Computing Laboratory, and also part of the Brazilian Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (BRAINN). 

The IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter of the Year Award will be presented for the 14th time in 2025!

Mário Figueiredo received his MSc (1990), PhD (1994), and habilitation (agregação) degrees, all in Electrical and  Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), the school of engineering of the University of Lisbon, where he has been a professor since 1994.

To address rapidly growing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for signal processing and data science, the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) has launched a new special series on AI in Signal & Data Science, to be published within the IEEE Journal on Selected Topic in Signal Processing (JSTSP).

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has 12 Technical Committees that support a broad selection of signal processing-related activities defined by the scope of the Society.

IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form related to a particular TC field.
