The Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) (https://www.miun.se/en/stc-research-centre/Research-Groups/communication-systems-and-networks/) group at Mid-Sweden University offers one post-doctoral position in the areas of control over low-power wireless networks and one in security and privacy for cyber-physical systems. The CSN group belongs to the research center Sensible Things that Communicate which is one of the leading research centers in Sweden in the area of sensor networks and systems.

The positions is for one year with possibility to extension with one year. The positions are based in Sundsvall. Candidates should have a PhD in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, Signal processing, automatic control or related areas, and a track record of publications in high-quality journals and/or conferences. Good written/oral communication skills in English, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team, are required. Skills and experience in both analytical and empirical research are highly desirable.

The CMRE is looking for a scientist that will be responsible to support the Centre's role in an EU scientific project. This work will be done in close collaboration with the CMRE programme of work in Data Knowledge and Operational Effectiveness and the incumbent will also interact with the Research Department Head, and relevant Programme Managers and Project Leaders within CMRE on the overall coordination of the assigned tasks to other work within CMRE. As a junior scientist, the incumbent will be asked to perform individual research as part of a team for the project, under the supervision of the project leader.
