The 2011 IEEE Eric E. Sumner Award is being presented to H. Vincent Poor, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ. IEEE selected Prof. Poor to receive the award, "for pioneering contributions to multiple-access communications."

Mitra Lab at Cold Spring Harbor is looking for an experienced image processing and analysis expert to serve in a postdoctoral research position. We need someone to work with our team to develop dynamic solutions to the problem of managing and presenting complex scientific data.

Multiple postdoctoral research fellow positions are available in Dr. Yong Chen’s group in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
