IEEE BMC Newsletter - Summer 2012
The IEEE Biometrics Council is proud to announce that the edition of its newsletter for Summer 2012 is now available. It contains a number of updates on biometric conferences/workshops and other IEEE activities related to biometrics. Namely, this edition of the newsletter contains:
- an interview of Charles H. Romine, Director of ITL, on biometric standards and evaluation;
- the announcement of newly elected Distinguished Biometrics Lecturers;
- a number of articles on UIDAI biometrics SDK API specifications for developers, cross sensor iris recognition, NIST;
- updates on upcoming conferences, new databases, new books, new tutorials, etc.
