Many of the honors of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) are awarded after nomination/endorsement by the technical committees. The endorsement process is thus critical to the promotion of work within the fields represented by our TC. In the IVMSP TC, the Awards Subcommittee is responsible for collecting candidate nominations from SPS members and friends at large, presenting these candidate nominations to the IVMSP TC for consideration (i.e., voting), and then forwarding successful candidates as official nominations from the IVMSP TC.
We are currently addressing the 2024 awards. We will send our endorsements to the SPS Awards Board by September 1, 2024.
