SigView Tutorial – Big Data over Networks

Big Data over Networks” is recently available on SigView.

This talk discusses the big data system design issue by focusing on the interaction across signal processing, information storage, and underlying communication networks. This talk will start with the highlights of some key challenges, and argue that one promising solver is distributed information processing and storage under communication constraint. Afterwards, several concrete examples will follow. Namely, the large-scale distributed estimation problem, distributed detection problem, and distributed storage problem. This talk will be concluded with some main lessons learned so far.

SPS SigView, a library of video tutorial resources (SigViews) is available to all SPS members. SigViews are unique resources, designed to give SPS members the intellectual edge in established and emerging signal processing fields.
